The device push-button only controls the local device with a single click. In the case of multiple clicks, it behaves like the room push-button. Device push-buttons also function without dSM in a normal installation without digitalSTROM.
The room push-button controls a room. The same command is sent to all terminal blocks and each terminal block decides which action it performs based on the preset/configured scenes.
