Terminal blocks automatically register in the circuit where they are connected. If you want to disable this function, for example to avoid that terminal blocks from an outdoor installation can be added, please proceed as described below.
Please note that it is not possible to block individual virtual rooms, but only an entire circuit can be blocked, ie a dSM.
- Open the digitalSTROM configurator and select the extended view
- Select the circuit (dSM) to be blocked.
- Then open the dSM properties via "Edit properties".
- Set the option "Block newly registered devices".
After that, your circuit is locked and no new devices can log on.
Please note: If you now would like to connect a device, for example a reading light with cord dimmer, in a locked circuit, it will not be able to log in. However, the device push-button of the cord dimmer will continue to work.
